On behalf of the teachers and coaches, I must extend my most heartfelt thanks to Kwang Yang and Joey for organising the appreciation for us... This is the first time such a thing was initiated. Thanks a million for the thought! I am really sorry I cannot stay for the celebration yesterday. My wife is at home yesterday and I do need to go home to accompany her...

When i first came to CO, i was also put in liuqin when i wanted cello.
Who told you that i love my instrument then?
I hate it alot, but years went by, and i learn how to love my instrument
& practice it well, so i hope to see everyone love their instrument well
instead of complaining! This is should be the correct attitude.
If not, whats there for to assign? Might as well you get into whichever
instrument you want!

CCA POINTS ARE DEFINITELY IMPORTANT, I SWEAR.
You may not find it important now because you guys
haven reach secondary 4!
Please please please attend your CCA regularly & dont miss it.
If you realised those different people in different instruments,
they are way friendly than you could expect.
Its interesting & fun in your own CCA, look inside & talk to them.

THEY WONT CHEW YOU UP!

And i am feeling very angry too when im typing that post,
cause i feel that it is really too ridiculous, and yes..
sorry all for that too straightforward post again, sorry peeps.

i have somethong to clarify wif u guy la... Do your want to get GOLD for this coming SYF de? huh? you noe you guys make me feel tat i am lousy? cant manage the CO well.. Can you guys show some respect to senior, coach, comittee and teacher? i dun like to scold u guys u noe pls cooperate wif us, nobody likes the feeling of scolding.

i appreciate those ppl who tried their best to make CO a better place for u guy to be in. But some of u guys dun want to come for practice then tell me u guys have something on, i close one eye n agree to excuse ur for going for the practice. but then some ppl come n chit-chat around, not that ur cant chit-chat but can ur try to do tat during the breaks in between the practice.

i expect ur to respect ur seniors, teacher, coach, comittee n the speaker. dun talk during the speaker is talking, reply the speaker if neccessary. Any question pls save till the speaker ask:'any question?' come on man, pls confront us if there is any clarification.We wont 'eat' u guys up, instead we are more than happy to listen to ur say/ opinion.

Do practice hard ok for this comiing SYF? remember," practice makes perfect". Seriously, all instruments are important. Without u guys, our goals wont be achieved. SO PRACTICE HARD ARH?

Dear orchestra members who are constantly MIA (missing in action),

I was a student before... and I think I can understand why some of you do not like coming for CCA... I was in the band before and there was a period of time when I too felt very disconnected with the CCA... was wondering why did I have to spend so much time practicing and it was very tiring (and boring at times hehe) to keep on practicing and seeing not much improvement in myself...

I hanged in there because I had friends there... (hehe... my first girlfriend was from the same CCA as me... come on... don't laugh... I mean we spend so much time together that it was bound to happen...) some of you who are not coming to orchestra... perhaps you find you have no friends to 'pull' you to come... well... it takes two hands to clap... I am sure the current orchestra leaders are friendly people who will not 'eat' you up... give us a chance to be your friends... in an orchestra, everyone is IMPORTANT... there is no small part or unimportant instrument... we need everyone in order to play well.... I focused on my friends and not wanting to let them down.... that drove me to go for my CCA...

If friends still are not good enough for you to pull yourself up from your lazy bums (haha... mine too at that time when I was in secondary) to come for CCA, then perhaps please focus on the CCA points at the end... it just takes your presence at the practices to earn the attendance points... in East View, I feel students are not taking this seriously... CCA points can help you do better in your next phase in education... imagine if you get B3 for CCA (average mark for CO members), you will be able to get 1 point deduction to go to JC or if going to poly, you will be able to use B3 to replace your lowest scoring subject and thus earning you a better grade to go into poly... of course A2 and A1 will be better but that will only be reserved for those in leadership positions.... I got my A1 in CCA and believe me, that helped me a lot for my application into JC...

I am also very relaxed about the CCA... I do not breathe down your neck and forcing you to come for CCA... I do know you need to have some space but please be fair to the rest of the students. I do not wish to not award any points to you. And although I do not see you guys and gals often, I am still around and you can always come and find me to chat if you wish to....

just a lil' pissed with people that dont wanna focus on CO.
Recently, heard excuses from so many people..

Firstly, sherry.
Please make up your mind whether you still wanna be a part in CO,
i am sorry to say this, but you really dont focus in your instrument
and like to tell us rubbish.

Joey & kwang yang had enough of your nonsense okays.
As a senior, i feel that i should tell you to stop all these now.
Its soon or later you will get a terrible scolding, so i rather you stop NOW.

Secondly, yan liang.
Yes, i reprimanded you the other day for not turning up to CO at least 2 months.
You tell me you have tuition, but i feel that tuition is something that can be changed,
and if in the past you were able to come for CO,
i dont see a reason why you cant come now, its ridiculous.

Please wake up both of you & have a sense of responsibility.
You are not longer in primary school, if you are not happy with your instrument,
you can always tell us, instead of giving stupid excuses.

Thirdly, penny/ yulin.
If both of you dont wanna turn up for sectionals,
please jolly well tell us and get out.
Call handphone/ house, dont listen.
reminded you in the morning, still dont wanna come.
if thats the reason, i shall respect your decision and get
mr goh to strip off your CCA points, no point coming once or twice in a month.
ITS USELESS.

yo EVSSCO!!!! here to post about the practice today. Ok i noe u guys and girls today had done ur best during practice right? haha keep it up k? the standard of our CO must incline ok? that only could be done if WE the whole orchestra co-operates wif one another by doing our best at all times. today the attendance was good, hope to see that all members turn up for practices =) NO slacking le arh the SYF scores coming le so work hard to achieve our target. GOLD awards arh? JYJY i noe u guys and girls can make it, it is only u all want to do it anot..
